Shadow People

Shadow People are the hip-hop group consisting of rappers Josh Johnz and Broken English, and DJ/Producer Audiodrome. Cousins Josh Johnz and Broken English, along with longtime friend Audiodrome, began working together as Shadow People in early 2007.  For years Josh Johnz and Broken English played shows under the name Psymantiks performing throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul at such venues as Barfly, The Cabooze, The Red Sea, The Dinkytowner among others.

Psymantiks released The Bootleg Volume 1 in 2004. Shadow People’s music is best described as a combination of strategic beats underneath witty-aggressive lyrics.  Currently the Shadow People are working on releasing their first project entitled The Shadow People EP, which is scheduled for release in August of 2009.  They plan to release a full length LP in 2010.
